David Osmond comes with more than 21 years of experience in senior management and entrepreneurial ventures in various industry verticals such as IT, tourism, hospitality, and education. His strategic and analytical skills help in providing the requisite direction and executive leadership to the organization. He is married to Helen and has two daughters.
James Bellingham has a wealth of experience in education and learning. Prior to his arrival at MDIS, he was the Head of the physics department at Mount Albert Grammar School in Auckland, New Zealand.
He has a BSc in Physics from the University of Auckland, Teacher Certification through the University of Victoria and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Massey University.
He is married to Julie and has one son and three daughters.
Head of Middle and High School
Sharon Thomson is from New Zealand. She grew up in Maharashtra, India and studied at Hebron School.
Sharon has a B.A in Economics with a minor in Maths & English and a Diploma of Teaching.
She has 20 years of teaching experience in total along with cross-cultural exposure. Sharon loves to paint and lives in Chattarpur with her husband.
Head of elementary School
Deepti Kamaal is from India and graduated from Woodstock School.
She has a B.A (H) in English and is TESOL trained. Deepti has completed her Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Roehampton, London, UK and received a distinction on her thesis- The Impact of social-emotional competencies on behavior and academics (in Third Culture Kids).
She started working at MDIS in 2008 and has been with MDIS for more than a decade. Deepti lives in Greater Noida with her husband and two children.
Head of Teacher Development
Marisol Morales is from Chile. She has 30 years of experience in education from different fields and responsibilities, in three different countries. She was a homeroom teacher for an elementary class and taught Spanish as a second language to high school students. She was also Head of Elementary and a part of a team that started a teacher training center as a part of the UEP University in Paraguay. Marisol also taught several subjects at UEP and was in charge of organizing and developing the teachers’ practical placement. She has also developed and published several textbooks and teachers’ guides for preschool.
Marisol has been married for 30 years. She has two children. Her son graduated from MDIS three years ago and the youngest is in her senior year at MDIS.
Head of Administration
Esther Chakrapani has more than 15 years of administrative experience at a senior role in Emmanuel Hospital Association with Director’s role in Micro-finance and Education sectors. She is married to Satyavir and has two daughters.
Head of Admissions and Business Development
Ekta John is from Dehradun. She has a Bachelor's degree in Programming and a Masters diploma in Business Management. She has an experience of over 16 years working with MNCs and NGOs managing clients, operations and marketing. She lives in Delhi with her husband Sharon and two boys.
